My name is Shannon Walsh, and I am currently a third-year law student. I was born and raised in Des Moines and received my bachelor's from the University of Iowa in 2023. I am a lover of Iowa City and a big proponent of students pursuing interests and activities outside of their program of study—you can reliably find me moonlighting as a bartender downtown on the weekends or attempting (futilely) to catch every new release at Film Scene. In addition to my role on JGRG, I am a Contributing Editor for the Iowa Law Review and the Vice President of Iowa's Graduate and Professional Student Government.
