My name is Kassidy Lovig and I am one of the Note & Comment Editors for Volume 29. I am originally from Cedar Rapids, IA and attended undergrad at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls. I majored in Public Health with a minor in Anthropology. I was also a student athlete on the swim & dive team and competed in distance freestyle and IM. This past summer I was a summer associate at Baird Holm in Omaha Nebraska where I primarily worked with their litigation and healthcare practice groups. After graduation I hope to move out of Iowa and begin a career in health law. In my free time I train and compete in triathlons. This past summer, I competed in my first Half Ironman and hope to do one or two more before competing in a full Ironman. I also enjoy spending time with my two cats, Townsley and Auggie and trying new restaurants in Iowa City.
