Hana L. Bradshaw

Biography

My name is Hana Bradshaw, and I am the Senior Online Editor for Volume 29! I am from sunny San Diego (I’ll always let you know where I’m from even if its annoying), where you will often catch me roller blading on the beach and eating my weight in fish tacos. I graduated from Dartmouth College in 2019 where I majored in Anthropology and minored in Asian and Middle Eastern Studies. I was also on the D1 varsity women's golf team, and a part of UJIMA, a hip hop dance team, and an advocacy coordinator for Movement Against Violence (MAV), a student organization dedicated to ending sexual violence on college campuses.

Before attending law school, I was a legal assistant at a boutique firm in downtown San Diego. I was also a barista at the Barnes and Noble Cafe near my hometown. At Iowa Law, I was the Co-President (along with Jay Moran of JGRJ!) of the Asian and Pacific American Law Student Association (APALSA). I was also a research assistant for Iowa Law's Federal Criminal Defense Clinic. This past summer, I was a legal intern at the ACLU of Utah in Salt Lake City, where I participated in many civil-rights related projects, specifically in disability law and indigent rights.

After graduation, I hope to practice civil rights, dependency law, or data privacy back in my home state of California or the mountains of Northern Utah. I love horror media of all kinds- films, books, podcasts etc; my darling Ragdoll cat named Juno; discovering new music; and cooking with friends and family!
