Articles Editor

My name is Michael “Sullivan” Zolman, and I’m an Articles Editor for Volume 27.

I was born in Florida but spent most of my formative years in Michigan, where I also attended the University of Michigan as an undergraduate. I worked for a year in various civics-centered roles at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic before coming to Iowa for law school.

My appreciation for and belief in the importance of the intersectional subject matter of JGRJ’s mission led me to seek a board position. As an Articles Editor, it’s been immensely fulfilling to help pick articles that positively contribute to that mission. Additionally, working toward publishing a dynamic final product with my other board members has been one of my most gratifying experiences in law school.

After graduation, I plan to enter the federal workforce as an attorney to serve the public interest.
