M.K. Rockey

Articles Editor

Hey all! I'm Margaret Rockey, one of JGRJ's Articles Editors. I joined JGRJ from the Iowa Law Review in the hopes of reading and editing more critical theory- and social justice-oriented pieces. Prior to coming to law school, I coached taught communications courses and debate at Western Washington University, where I coached the school's first national championship team. As an undergraduate, I majored in History and Politics and was one of the top three parliamentary debaters in the country. I also got to join a debate project with students in the Washington State Penitentiary, which sparked my interest in social justice and the criminal legal system. In my free time, I love to practice guitar, ride my bike, and watch YouTube videos about geography or the logistics of line management at Disneyland.
